Experience

"To experience means to expose one's body to a being active and having an effect."

"To experience means to realize, that is, the becoming real of a content. To realize means that the movements which constitute a reality take place in a perceiving unit."

"A taking of a stand (as a reaction to an impulse) in the sphere of feeling represents the experienced content of an impulse for a perceiving unit. It represents the meaning of an impulse. It may also be termed an experience of meaning. An experience (of meaning) represents a reality in a perceiving unit which can further influence its expression."

"A prevailing posture of perception (in the sphere of the inner experiencing) contains a prevailing meaning, a prevailing view of the world, a prevailing way the world is met with."

"The postures which are generated in the sphere of feeling as well as the separating posture here are termed subjective conditionednesses. During their existence they can condition a (further) process of perceiving and the expression of a perceiving unit. "Subjective" refers to the subjective connections which make up an inner posture in a specific perceiving unit."

"In order to maintain the flexibility of a perception it is important that an experience of meaning leaves a body. When this does not take place it remains stuck in a body. In this case, reactions to (new) impulses take place on the base of the stuck posture. That is, the perception then is not free (from a posture)."
